Graduation!

It took me 20 years to get here. I took my first college class at Orange Coast College in the fall of 1989. It was English 100 - Freshmen Composition. On Saturdays, Steve would watch the kids and I went to school. After a semester of that, I took Speech and then on, you get the drift - one class at a time. When we moved to San Diego I stopped for a couple of years, and then went back and got my AA in Radio and Television in 1997, taking 21 units in the last semestre. That was an awesome graduation, I was so happy that the kids were there to watch their mom get a degree. I was very proud of myself.

This time Bob joined us. And I was again glad the kids were there to see their mom get this degree. It was better, though, because they are older and understand the sacrifices involved. I'm so lucky. And yes, I'm proud of myself.
These are my family graduation pictures. For more pictures, follow the link to my Facebook page.

Of course, no graduation is complete if there isn't a party to celebrate! We had good friends and family come to the first ever screening of "Why America," an AMBRA Production film. It was great to get some feedback, I still had to finish the sound and some other stuff for our showcase.
Randall Moore was kind enough to share some of the pictures he took at the party.
